Common man vs. Celebrity

It’s about 8 months I have posted something here. Now I got something to write and it is about my experience of 18th September night.

This is what a common man experiences

Chintan & I decided to go to the famous “Lalbaugcha Raja” in Mumbai. We took a slow local from Vashi and got down at Kurla. Again took local and reached Byculla. We walked around 2 Kms to find from where the queue is starting and finally joined the queue.

Ohh my god!!!! I must say…it’s easy to count stars in the sky but almost impossible to count human beings over there. The queue in fact was not queue; it was something like crushing crowed going in one direction, so it was defined as a queue. And then came that 300 meter distance!!! Again it is easy to breath under water but not at that place!!!!I must salute those women who managed to be there and did not give up. It took around 1.5 hours to cross those 300m. It was very funny to see people trying to join the queue from the middle and getting caught by police.

So after crossing those 300 m, people started moving forward in batches, so had to wait for a long without moving a centimeter. But when we got the chance to move on (around 2 a.m.), we walked almost continuously till the destination (around 5 am).

Just before the destination, the arrangement for managing the queue was very different. I t was like maze puzzle. And we had to cross to of such kind and finally reached the destination. And the most annoying part…they allowed us to see Lord Ganesha hardly for 2 sec. huuuuuh!!!!!But someone has truly said “Bhagwan itni aasani se nahi milte”!!!

It was interesting to see that there was a special queue for “Mannat”. And it was something like 30 hr long queue!!I must stay “IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA”.

So finally we managed to see a huge “Lord Ganesha”.

In fact we crossed three local railway stations….Bycull, Chinchpokli and Parel and reached near Curry road!!!!

This is what a celebrity status does

Now I watched in news that Mr. Amitabh Bachhan along with his son went there on 20 September night and …yes you are right, there was no queue for them!!!!

So just started wondering that why is it so????

Is it making justice to people like us?????

“RULES IN INDIA ARE ONLY FOR COMMON PEOPLE”

They are also normal human beings but……

I am sure that every common Indian civilian has gone through such experience once !!!

Still wondering why!!!!!!!!!
